We of course think yogurt is very nutritious. We eat it every day for either breakfast, lunch or desert. It is one of our basic old fashioned foods.
We are not required to put the Nutritional Facts on our Yogurt containers but we felt many of our customers would be interested in this data. This data comes from NutritionData.com. It is not a test from our product specifically.
Sugar. You may ask yourself, why is there sugar listed? Answer. Milk contains Lactose, which is milk sugar. When you make yogurt, Lactose is what the Yogurt culture eats to grow and multiply. So when the yogurt is finished incubating, there should not be any sugar left, right! I agree. And I can not say why there is sugar listed on this nutritional data.
Our particular yogurt culture consists of the following: Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus, also pro biotic cultures likeLactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium lactis.
